Our recommendation: rent your skis at Vail Ski Shop (best price) and store them at Base Camp (next to the gondola). That way you ski straight out from the hotel — ski-in / ski-out.
The best option for equipment rental. Great quality and price. Reserve on their website before you arrive and pick up when you get to Vail.
